Firms need more and more highly qualified managers able to integrate in their analyses and decisions both technical and managerial dimensions. Confronted by this strong demand, HEC School of Management offers 12 Masters Programs in order to provide young graduates from a level bac+5 (Engineer of Grande Ecole, Masters or equivalent) with professional skills.
The Specialized Masters is a 12 months curriculum, structured around 8 months of courses and a 4 to 6 months internship. A professional thesis is submitted to a jury at the end of the internship. The partnership with companies, admission to the Alumni Network, the close cooperation of companies in the different Programs of HEC School of Management: all these are vital tools contributing to a quick start in the business world.
HEC-Mines Management Information Systems Master’s
The internationalisation of business, corporate networking, the emergence and dissemination of information and associated technology are most factors that have compelled companies to deal with the need for innovation, both internally and in the marketplace.
HEC-MINES’ Specialized Master in Information Systems and Technology Management was created to respond to the market’s urgent need for (and expectations of) Experts and Consultants that possess double technical and managerial competencies.
HEC and MINES ParisTech have pooled their resources to achieve these goals using the competencies at their disposal.
The programme’s originality resides in this double partnership :
- Learning is guided jointly by HEC and MINES ParisTech.
- Professional missions are carried out in close cooperation with cutting-edge firms.

This Specialized Master’s program HEC-Mines provides participants with the skills needed to manage projects with a strong information, communication and technological component in Finances, Industry, Service and Administration sectors. It will complete their previous scientific training and provide them with the concepts, methods, approaches, and tools required to manage a strategic information project in an industrial digital and business oriented context.
The program is organized into three major parts:
- Eight months of Intensive Seminars
- Five to Six months of company internship
